I really enjoyed this book. Learned a little more about slaves and their history. I hated the book ended and would love to read more about Miriam, Cornelius, and Lena. Thank you Ms. Farmer.
This is the third book I have read from this author and I love how she mixes fact with fiction. I am not big on history but I love how she tells a story. Her books are never boring and always have the right amount of detail. Plus she adds mystery with a little sci-fi. Which equals to a great book! Thank you for being the writer that you are! I look forward to reading more of your books!
Enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Wish there was more. This book was definitely a page Turner!
I enjoyed this book so much it was difficult to put it down. I found this book to be quite entertaining. It was also informative from a historical perspective.
So far I've read only 2 of her books but that's enough for me to be sure that I am a fan. The history, the paranormal edge, the storyline... are all A1 and keeps me turning the page. Awesome job LL Farmer! Looking forward to future reads
