When I am out stalking the wild vegitation of North Florida and South Georgia this is one of several books I put in my backpack. I agree with another reviewer that sometimes the flowers get lost in the photos but most of the time the plant structure and habitus provide useful information. What makes this book a great carry-along is that the plants are color-coded by their flowers. I recommend it highly.Matt Cohen

Walter Taylor's best book, no offense. This book includes plants you are most likely to see in the field. Note that some of the species scientific names have changed since this was published. Plants are arranged by flower color.

I purchased this book for work as an environmental scientist and it has proved to be very valuable. Color coding makes locating flowers much easier.

What I thought would a mystery, which I love, turned to be creepy, not in a horror way but actually a strange creepy. Would recommend to all who like mystery's and those who like just a little something different.

So disappointed in this series. The violence in the retribution of these women and the ability to get away with it that is glorified was just to much for me. I read the first two books but could not stomach anymore. I will never read another of this author's books.
